SUMMER COURSES KICK OFF!
Northampton Town Football in the community kicked off the summer period with a number of courses and events around the county this week. Children aged between 6 and 14 years joined our coaches at Sir Christopher Hatton school in Wellingborough or Sixfields stadium to perfect their skills and take part in our fun tournaments.
Community coach Pete Stephenson said "I have been really impressed with the ability and attitude of those attending the Wellingorough course this week, especially our younger players who have shown great improvements day by day. We have been working on individual ball manipulation and dribbling skills, and have started to introduce the concepts of passing to create opportunities which everyone has really started to take on board. Our tournaments each afternoon have been very competitive with some great team performances and lots of excellent goals on show!"
