Northampton Town Football in the Community in Partnership with Northampton Town Multi Disability Football Club

Friday evenings at Moulton College at the Holcott from 5.30pm to 6.45 pm there there are opportunities for people with disabilities to play football. The coaching is from ten years of age to adults, with the younger players from ten to fourteen receiving coaching at the Pitsford Site where they train indoors. Also indoors are our disability ladies who have recently formed a team.The Pitsford site is in the excellent Futsal centre, the only Futsal centre in Northamptonshire. At the Holcot Centre the players train on 3 G astra turf.
The players over 14 to 16 train together and the adult players are put in the various abilitiy structures, which is league, championship and Premiership. The players play in the East Midlands Pan Disability Festivals where they play against Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Linconshire, Derbyshire and of course Northamptonshire. These fixtures are played every two months, away from the festivals Northampton Multi Disabled club play against other disability clubs around the country and enter our disability festivals. At the club there is a membership of over 60 players.
