We always look to deliver programmes which encourage mass participation in the game are fully socially inclusive, contributes to the health and well being of those involved and also allows each individual to set their own goals and to achieve their own levels of excellence. We encourage all the young and adults we work with to play the game” for fun and to learn from their involvement. We also encourage where possible excellence alongside personal growth. Attendees on our programmes can enjoy their sport, and they can also see how they can achieve at the highest level through our Centres of Excellence and Elite and Development centres. Participants on our holiday schemes can if they have the desire, will, skill and application be guided through to play the game at the highest level, both in the professional/senior game for men and women and also at national level within Multi Disability.

Our principles are based on us working in partnership with other agencies and organisations who can add specialist skills and support to our work and return we give back to our partners the opportunity for them to work with us in using the power of football to make a difference for all the people we jointly work with. We also work hand in hand with the Cobblers “Study Support Centre at Sixfields to ensure that all of our programmes are “Joined up” and complimentary to each other.

Our work as a charity has been recognised nationwide and the Football League Trust have accredited us a “Silver “ accredited scheme (The highest currently available) and has praised us highly for our work within the field of Social Exclusion and Health Therapy, describing our programmes as being at the “Cutting Edge” of provision.

Cllr Tony Clarke,
Chief Executive, Northampton Town FC Football in the Community Programme

"Here at Northampton Town Football Club, we are rightly proud of our award winning Football in the Community work.

We are very much community club, and are a big part of the Northampton community. That we hold such a position is, in so small part, down to the fantastic work of our Football in the Community team, and the fun and joy they bring to 50,000 local children each year, not to mention the thousands of adults they also help inspire, educate and motivate.

The next few pages give you just a taste of the work that our Football in the Community team do, day in, day out, much of it away from the headlines and the  gaze of the public.

If you are able to help us continue and expand our work, not only will you be making a dedicated and talented team of staff and volunteers very happy, you will be making a very real difference to many thousands of children and adults, many of whom have had their lives changed for the better using the power of football and Northampton Town Football Club in particular.

Our motto at the club is YOUR TOWN, YOUR CLUB, YOUR COMMUNITY. Please browse through this document and then see if you can help us bring more joy to your town, your club and your community using the unique power of football.

Thank you for your time."

David Cardoza
Chairman
