NTFC BOYS ELITE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT CENTRE TRIANGULAR FIXTURE
On Thursday 27th October 2011 and Friday 28th October 2011, Northampton Town FC Boys Elite Player Development teams entertained Oxford United FC and Walsall FC at Daventry Town FC and Daventry Sports Park. On the Thursday the festival was for the U7, U9, U11s, U13s and U15s/U16s. The festival took the format of a round robin. The U7s, U9s and U11s, U13s and U15s/U16s played all their fixtures on grass pitches. The U7s, U9s, U11s and U13s played a total of 4 games lasting for 15 to 25 minutes in duration, while the U15s/U16s played a one off 70 minute fixture against Walsall FC. All age groups did very well in their respective matches.
On the Friday was the turn for the U8s, U10s and U12s and U14s to play. The fixtures were made up of the same Clubs which had been involved on the Thursday. The day went really well and was yet again well supported by parents. A big thank you goes out to all at Daventry Town FC and all our players and staff for their time and professionalism over the two days. The next elite development fixtures are at February and will see age groups from U7s through to U16s travelling to Derby County FC.
