The Ladies won their first game of 2012 thanks to a goal from Lisa Porter on 26 minutes. The goal came following an excellent cross from Sarah Bland, allowing Lisa Porter the opportunity to beat her marker to slot home.
Two or three good good chances fell to Kate Swanson but the Raunds goalkeeper made some good saves to keep her side in the game, although the home side never really threatened the Cobblers goal.
Hopefully the win will give the Ladies confidence ahead of the home game with Leicester City on Sunday.
