FITC GO INFLATABLE!

Northampton Town Football in the Community Programme have gone inflatable, and even first team star Ryan Gilligan was joining in the fun as staff received training on the new equipment last week.

Funding from the Northants County Council enabled the Community Programme to purchase the inflatable pitch, shelter and walkway for use in disability coaching, something that will add to the great work NTFC FITC are doing to give those with disabilities opportunites to participate in football. The inflatables will be making their debut at Sixfields during the Easter half term holiday courses on Wednesday 20th April, where children aged 3-14 will have the chance to practice their skills on the bouncy penalty shootout, or in our inflatable arena!

Northampton Town midfielder Ryan Gilligan joined in the fun, who took on our very own legend Adam in the first 1v1 game in the arena! After Ryan had scored 8 past Adam, we decided to call an end to the tie, with the midfielder saying "this is a great piece of equipment, the children will love it. It's great that the community staff within the club are in a position to offer children the opportunity to experience football in such a fun environment, even i had a great time!"

If you would like the chance to show off your skills in our inflatable football world, book onto our Sixfields course this Easter by downloading a booking form here.
