CEREBRAL PALSY FOOTBALL EVENT

Northamptonshire Football Association and Northampton Town Football in the Community (FITC) are inviting young people with Cerebral Palsy (or a brain acquired injury), between the ages of 10 - 16 to a coaching event on Saturday 24th September at Sixfields Stadium, Northampton.

The event begins at 12pm with a tour of Sixfields Stadium, followed by a coaching session, delivered by Northampton Town FC coaches, on the training pitch at the stadium.

After the players have been put through their paces, they will be invited, along with their parents to a short Q&A session where they will have an opportunity to meet Leon Taylor, an England and Great Britain Cerebral Palsy Footballer. During this Q&A session, attendees will learn what opportunities are available for Cerebral Palsy Footballers and how they could potentially represent the England Cerebral Palsy Squad or even become a Paralympian!

In addition, all players and their parents will be given a match ticket for Northampton Town V Dagenham & Redbridge, and if that wasn’t enough, the whole event is completely FREE!!!

All participants will need to book their space on this event by contacting either Shaun Waite, Northamptonshire FA on 01604 678409, shaun.waite@northamptonshirefa.com or Russell Lewis, Northampton Town Football in the Community on 01604 683764, russell.lewis@ntfc.tv
